About Me

In 2013, I completed my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta with a double major in Psychology and German. I returned to university and completed my Education After Degree at Concordia University of Edmonton in 2016, after which I worked as a primary teacher in a German Bilingual school for six years. My own experiences with learning and teaching German have driven me to pursue my MA in Applied Linguistics. My research interests include second language acquisition, and second language learning and teaching. In my spare time, I enjoy participating in outdoor activities, such as snowboarding and biking, and competing in yard games and trivia nights, albeit with very limited success. My favourite movies are the original Star Wars series and Labyrinth. Books that I would recommend include Good Omens, Juja, and Indian Horse.
